Harris grows education vertical with acquisition of eDoctrina

Ottawa, ON – Harris, a global vertical market software provider and acquirer, expands its presence in the education vertical market by acquiring eDoctrina Corporation, a software company providing K-12 curriculum, assessment, and accountability solutions.

eDoctrina will be integrated into the Harris Education Solutions portfolio (HES), which provides software to students, teachers, and administrators across North America. Mihir Shah, Executive Vice President of HES said, “eDoctrina’s solutions are a perfect complement to our portfolio. Combining eDoctrina’s specialties with our existing platform will help us bring a richer experience with additional capabilities to our customers. We are excited to welcome the eDoctrina employees and their customers into the Harris family”.

Founded in 2010, eDoctrina caters to districts, schools, and regional agencies primarily in the northeastern U. S. with a specific focus on New York. In keeping with Harris’ philosophy of acquire, manage and build, eDoctrina will maintain its brand and independence with support, coaching, and best practices from Harris and provide eDoctrina’s customers, employees, and products a permanent home.
