Westerville, OH and Toronto, ON

After a comprehensive and competitive procurement process, Advanced Utility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced) is pleased to announce that the City of Westerville (the City) has selected CIS Infinity as its new customer information and billing solution (CIS).

CIS Infinity is the flagship CIS from Advanced, which the City is in the early stages of implementing, and will support the City’s meter reading, billing, collections and customer service requirements for 17,000 electric, water, sewer and refuse customers.

Gina Love, Assistant Finance Director for the City, describes the procurement process and explains why CIS Infinity was selected: “The City spent considerable time evaluating various solutions by soliciting proposals as well as conducting on-site software demonstrations and discovery sessions.”

“Advanced clearly demonstrated how the CIS Infinity system would meet our requirements and how it would work with our new accounting system.”

Mrs. Love continues, “CIS Infinity best met the City’s current and future needs and aligned with the mission of our ERP Project, which is to meet the operational needs of the City through effective and efficient coordination and delivery of core business functions in an intuitive and user-friendly environment.”

Peter Fanous, Executive Vice President for Advanced comments: “Advanced is pleased to count the City of Westerville as its first client in the state of Ohio. We look forward to building a solid relationship that will take us through many more years of partnership.”
