AdvancedUtility Systems, a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation ("Advanced”)is pleased to announce that the Corporation of the City of Brantford (“the City”)has selected Advanced’s flagshipcustomer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity, to support itsin-house water, wastewater and water rental billing and customerservice functions.
The City ofBrantford is located in the heart of Southern Ontario. Brantford is known as the Telephone City, asit was there in 1874 that Alexander Graham Bell first conceived the idea forthe telephone. It is also the birthplaceof hockey player Wayne Gretzky. Brantford is a vibrant community with a population of approximately97,000.
The City required a customer information system(CIS) that could support the City’s customer service objectives and wasconsistent with its objective of leveraging technology to provide solidmunicipal services to its citizens. Afterconducting a comprehensive review of proposals from qualified vendors,reference checks and on-site demonstrations, the City selected Advanced UtilitySystems’ customer information and utility billing solution, CIS Infinity.
Chris Harrington, Utility IT Project Managercommented: “CIS Infinity offers integrationimprovements with other systems in which the City has invested.
