SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company and the City of Greensboro Go-Live With Systems & Software’s enQuesta 4 Solution

Harris Computer Systems (Harris), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU) is pleased to announce that two more customers have successfully gone live with Systems & Software’s (S&S) enQuesta 4 solution: SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company (MI), and the City of Greensboro (NC).

SEMCO ENERGY Gas Company, a division of SEMCO Energy, Inc. (SEMCO) has been a customer of S&S since 2005 and elected to upgrade to enQuesta 4 late in 2011. Since SEMCO successfully went live, the customer service representatives have reported faster running of processes and are very happy with the overall results of the upgrade.

Laurie Owens, Director of Customer Service, reported that “enQuesta 4 has provided us with enhanced functionality and configuration allowing us to meet and often exceed operational objectives. New product enhancements and operational efficiencies continue to positively impact customer service. The City of Greensboro (Greensboro) has been an S&S customer since 2004. Greensboro successfully went live with enQuesta 4 in July 2012. As part of the upgrade, Greensboro implemented enQuesta’s Mobile solution to utilize mobile field devices and dispatch functionality within the utility’s meter and infrastructure departments, ensuring real time links with the office in a paperless environment.

Jeff Kimel, Greensboro’s Customer Service Manager, stated that “We have seen efficiencies gained in the first phase of our mobile work order system. The real time application has helped us decrease the number of trips we make out in the field.”
