Harris, a global vertical market software provider and acquirer, expands its presence in the public safety sector by acquiring The Computer Solution Company of Virginia, LLC (TCSC) from Cherry Bekaert LLP, a nationally acclaimed public accounting and advisory firm. TCSC’s platform, Forensic Advantage Systems, provides integrated software modules for forensic laboratories and medical examiners/coroners.
Due to changing legislation and enhancements to forensic techniques, law enforcement agencies —including medical examiners, forensic, and general laboratories— require improved automation and enterprise-wide communications to manage growing backlogs.
