Code Enforcement

Harris CODES is an application to enhance Records Management and Code Enforcement operations of the modern municipality.  This powerful tool provides support for the functions performed by staff in the areas of General Records Management and Code Enforcement Support. This implementation is intended to provide benefits in support of the General Operations and Information Processes of the municipality.

CODES provides a set of support tools for the generation, capture and retention of information about Land Parcels, Building Units, owners and contractors.  Additional information tracked includes Actions/Activities undertaken for development and zoning; Permits granted or denied; Subdivision application tracking and activity; Occupation, use and improvement of parcels and units including dimensions, characteristics and uniqueness.

CODES is a client/server application utilizing a Microsoft Windows platform and Microsoft SQL Server database. CODES is completely table driven with extensive user-defined fields allowing complete flexibility in configuring the unique requirements of each municipality. The open architecture provides the ability to integrate with other applications and infrastructure including Interactive Voice Response (IVR). CODES has the ability to increase efficiency and reduce paperwork with an overall low total cost of ownership.
