CityView Migration Success Story: City of Big Bear Lake, CA

The City of Big Bear Lake, CA is the first CityView customer to migrate from the BluePrince product to the CityView Suite.

March 26, 2015: VICTORIA, BC:  CityView is pleased to announce the City of Big Bear Lake, CA is now live with CityView Planning. It was only last summer that Big Bear Lake, who has used the BluePrince product since 2009, welcomed the opportunity to become an early adopter of the CityView Suite; it is the first organization to implement the CityView to BluePrince migration plan.

CityView’s Planning module will help Big Bear Lake improve departmental efficiency through its automated approval routing, hearing scheduling and recording, and tracking. Staff will be able to better manage and track all planning-related activities from beginning to end throughout the entire lifecycle of a project.

“So far the CityView software has worked as promised and Jatinder [CityView Implementation Specialist] has been available at all times to help Big Bear Lake staff with any little problem that might arise. We plan to be using the CityView software for years to come; it will help make the processing and the organization of the Planning Department much smoother and more efficient. We look forward to adding different modules for other departments in the near future,” commented Andrew Mellon, Associate Planner of Big Bear Lake.
