Fort Collins, CO and St. Louis, MO - Management Solutions for Government (MS Govern), a division of Harris Computer Systems, is pleased to name the City of Fort Collins, Colorado as its newest customer. The City purchased the Govern Business Tax Suite with its field Audit Mobile module and the eGovern Public Self Service Portal Suite.
“Our Colorado Customer list keeps growing and it is very exciting to add the City of Fort Collins as our newest Colorado Customer to implement the Govern Business Tax Suite. The Govern Software will provide the City with a configurable, innovative and comprehensive “Sales and Use Tax” Administration, Billing, Collection, and Audit system with a future implementation of the Business License Module. Using the eGovern Suite, the City will extend its eGovernment services to businesses where they could file their tax returns and pay for the taxes online. With its configurability, the Govern Software will enable the City to control its needs and evolve them as driven by internal and external needs. We look forward to a successful project implementation and ongoing partnership with the City of Fort Collins,” says Richard Beaini, VP of Sales and Marketing.
“The City of Fort Collins was looking for a dynamic, secure and user friendly system that would meet the high standards expected from both our internal users and our tech savvy business community. In addition, the City was seeking a system with robust online capabilities to allow vendors to complete sales tax returns and remit the sales tax electronically. We selected Govern because of its “world-class” capabilities. The system is highly configurable and the functionality exceeded our expectations. Govern will allow the City of Fort Collins to continue to accomplish its vision of providing world-class municipal services” stated Jessica Ping-Small, Sales Tax Manager, City of Fort Collins.
