EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related
discipline, or equivalent job experience.
- Delphi, C++/C#, VB/.NET, and other visual development tools.
- Experience programming database driven applications using DAO/ADO
components.
- Object Oriented (OO) application design and relational database
programming.
- Knowledge of/skills in MS-SQL, Advantage-SQL and Crystal Enterprise
reports.
- Experience with Local Government Financial Applications, Utility
Billing or Property Tax a plus.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing, testing and implementing Client/Server applications and
enhancements.
- Release development methodology and change controls.
- Working with other technically skilled staff on a multi-disciplinary
team.
- Preparing, planning and documenting application release migrations.
- Production support, problem diagnosis, problem resolution.
- Ability to work independently, flexible, self motivated and a team
player
- Interface effectively with both internal and external clients
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
LOCATION
Individual will work out of the Chalfont, PA or Niagara Falls, NY
office.
